Can i buy a verizon phone and activate it on my sprint acount?

I highly doubt it. I don't believe sprint is going to let you use their competitors phone. I'm sure it will probably have to be a sprint. Good Luck. I had a phone I really wanted to keep for using on sprint but it was not up to date or something like that. - Yaya

I am looking at this cool phone from verizon that i want but i have spriont and im staying with sprint! Can they activate this verizon phone with my sprint acount

they can flash your phone for you. I have cricket (sprint is in the stor with them) and they flashed a VZ phone for me. You cant buy if off the VZW without paying for a plan too so just look on ebay or craigslist, sometimes you can even find the phone your looking for already flashed and that will save you 60$ (thats for the full flash)

..and what will you do with the plan you buy with the verizon phone? or are you looking at craigslist or something? Then spring should be able to flash it for you.

If you are getting the phone from VZW, I dont think they sell it without service.

I asked this about verizon to a verizon rep and he said its possible but verizon phones do not use sim cards and other providers do plus you would have to buy the phone at full cost no discount and then may have to pay a fee to sprint. I do know that the push to talk on verizon is not compatible with the direct connect from sprint/nextel
