can I change the quick tabs on LG VU on the home screen? instead of the TV icon

change it to messaging? How? I don't want to add the shortcut menu because that takes up a lot of the screen. but i'll never use the TV app and think that space would be better used with the texting app. if anyone knows how to change it please please let me know. by the way i just got the LG VU today for Valentines Day and I LOVE it. never owned a touch screen before but I'm quickly falling in love.
