Can i connect a dynamic microphone to my computer?

i bought a dynamic microphone and the wire that goes from the mic to what ever u want to connect to is 2 big for my computer. is there a way of connecting it to my computer i think it is 1/8 but it says use for karoke but is there a way of getting something and connecting it 2 that and then connecting that thing to my computer. If there is can u tell me the name and price of it. Thank you
