no, your phone cannot act as a broadband connection, it wont work EVER.. the only way to connect to live is to have a broadband connection...

why did you ever think this would work?....

you need a fast speed internet source, your phone handles probably a few hundred kilobytes maximum, whereas xbox live connection requires a minimum of 1mb connection to work, but even that is slow...

Plus your phone wont connect to the xbox in the first place! as infrared wont work with it...

you need a wifi router, or a cable/adsl modem a wired/wireless connection which also requires the wireless dongle for the xbox, *until the new one is released* and well yeah a brain helps too
