They are tracking people now, the MPAA and they are sending notifications out to peoples ISP providers and they in turn send you a warning letter. I got one from the cable company saying to stop downloading (it was a friggin CSI episode) I had missed on TV and wanted to watch it. Since than I have been real careful, even cancelled cable and stuck with my regular ISP. i got the cable for increased speed. If your serious about downloading, you need to hide your ISP by bouncing it off someone elses server. There are now services I guess that can hide your ISP by funneling you through their network. But I suppose that could go down or fail and you'd be open again for possible trouble. DO NOT trust programs like Peer Guardian though, they DO NOT WORK!
