Can I exchange the tires from a Hyundai Sonata to a Nissan Sentra?

I have a 2001 Hyundai that isn't in working condition anymore and it has brand new tires that cost me over $400. I recently bought a 2006 Nissan Sentra that needs new tires already. Will it fit and work alright if I do this?
