Can I have PS3 Blue Ray Help Please?

Will the ps3 play blue Ray movies if it is not hooked up to an HD TV or Connected with an HD-MI cable?
Honestly, I just really want to watch the bonus features and I don't really care so much about the picture quality.

yes , they just play in lower resolution

you'll need to keep the ps3 firmware updated though because this also updates blu-ray security keys ( like confirming drm protection on pc videos and music )
some blu-ray extras are only available online so if your ps3 is online you can access BDlive and get online bonus features too .
