I have a storm 3 that i absolutely love, but my verizon bill is $200 a month for only 2 lines... everyone tells me I am over paying and I am looking for other options as far as wireless providers.... Can I keep my verizon storm and use it with another provider..?? I hear you can do something with the cell system... but is it safe??

cannot, because verizon cell phones do not have the place to put sim card in. This is the type of monopoly.,

No. Verizon phones don't work with any other providers. And any other provider's phones won't work with Verizon either.

You can flash a Verizon phone to Cricket. You may be able to flash it to Metro or Boost. As there is no Storm 3, it's not clear what phone you actually have. If you have a Blackberry Storm 1 or 2, the phone can be unlocked and used with AT&T, T-Mobile and any other GSM network in your area.

Just be aware that all of the features of both flashed and unlocked phones are often not supported by the new carriers. Additionally, unless your Verizon contract is over, you will incur the early termination fee on both lines if you end your Verizon service. That's going to be very. very expensive.
