...interest in them? When I'm in a social situation like a school classroom or a networking meeting, I find it hard to bring myself to bond with people who don't share my interests (which are rather narrow and most people don't have them).
When I meet people who don't share my interests, all I can talk to them about is about the weather and other mundane topics. I have to fake my interest in what they have to say in order to make friends with them and often times I can't keep that up and I end up ignoring them for fear of conversing them in boring dialogue again. I don't know, I just find most people uninteresting and bland (not that I'm the most interesting guy myself).
I guess I would have better luck making friends by joining interest groups via meetup.com and facebook? That would be the easy way I suppose.
My interests are Libertarianism (Ron Paul), Monetary Policy, Austrian Economics, Entrepreneurship, Seduction Arts, nutrition and alternative medicine, female psychology, and online multiplayer first-person shooters.
