i just bought it, its a cruiser bike, i havent gotten it runnin yet, it needs 24v controller(25a). and two 12v 10ah lead acid batteries, i see alot of people saying that motors(maybe just brushless ones, i dont know) can take alot more than theyre listed to, would that work for mine and would i need a bigger controller? any different batteries i should use instead? and how fast do you think it would go the way id be getting it running right now?, im 140lbs
well i know about the series thing, i was wondering if you think my motor could handle more than its rated 24v, like would it over heat with 36v on it?

Two 12v batteries wired in series will provide 24 volts. Don't wire them in parallel, because if one is better charged than the other, you will get a sudden dump of current from one to the other, damaging both batteries. (If you did wire them in parallel, they would provide 12 volts.)
