Can I send data thorugh SD card, dvd?

I have filmed a short movie and stored it on my laptop. I need to transfer this 19GB data to my editor overseas. Can I store this data, which is saved as different files for each take, using an SD memory card or DVD(4GB each). I ask this since there are some issues in sending it using a pen drive, so I need other options. If I bunch the different files into groups of 4 GB each and send it via 5 dvds of 4 GB each, will he be able to save all the files toghther and edit my movie.

Well you could either:

Buy a huge SD that would fit a file that size

OR

Buy several small SDs and split the movie up into parts

But yes you can store a movie on SDs just fine

Or you could render the file before sending it, that makes the file a lot smaller.
