I bought a used BMW over 3 years ago, and it still had warranty. 2 years ago the car started to show that the oil level was low... and it happens often. I took the car several times to the dealership because I know there was a problem and the warranty was about to expire..and was ALWAYS told... that it's was perfectly normal that I just need to add a quarter of oil... I took it to a diferent dealership to have a second opinion and they even checked the car for possible leaks and they say it didn't have anything that I only needed to add a quarter of oil.. that pissed me off and I decided not to keep on taking the car to the dealer.. today..two years after that my car keeps on having the same problem (and now I don't have a warranty)... I took the car to the dealer.. they told me that since they didn't did the oil change they couldn't be sure of the oil level.. so they did the oil change.. and three months after that I was told once again "it is normal just add a quarter of oil" these time FIVE days after they added a quarted of oil the low level light lighted up again... I took the car to the dealer... and now they finally decided to check it. the result... the car HAS AN OIL LEAK and I have to pay 840 something to have it fixed! just because I am a woman they think I am a joke! can anyone know if I can sue them?

Sorry to say but no.But if you have any proof of this info I would call BWM and complain about this and you should of done that a long time ago for the simple fact the car was under warranty. But I dont see how you could even prove they are at fault unless you have all the paper work that states no oil leak was found and so on.But even then its a tough call and could cost you more then its worth to fight it.
