USCIS? I am living in the US right now on a student (F1) visa while attending college. I recently got married to a US citizen and we filed the I-130 and I-485 concurrently. I received my notice of approval (Form I-797) in the mail about a week ago, but I know it will be a while before I get my conditional green card, since USCIS is still in the initial review process of my documents. So, my question is, can I travel outside of the country using my F1 visa while waiting for my conditional green card and my change in status or will this hurt my application? Please help. Thank you!

You need to apply for Advance Parole (AP). If you leave earlier, your AOS petition will be seen as abandoned.
