Can i upgrade a HTC Desire from Android 2.1 to Android 2.2 (Froyo)?

Im planning on buying this HTC Desire and it says it is on Android 2.1, can i upgrade it to 2.2 (Froyo)?
And if i can, how can i do that?
 
Yep, just go to the phone info in the menu screen and update. It will pull the update down from your service provider. I recently did one on Orange and it was fine.
