Can i use a DVD-RW in a car to play like a CD?

I have a DVD-RW can i use like a regular CD to play in a car if im using iTunes to burn it?
 
your best bet is to reburn the files on a CD or CD-R. CD players in cars dont read DVD, hence why its called CD player. the only way a car can play a DVD is if they upgraded the system to read DVD, say for example on a van, equipped with a DVD player and screen.
