I gota have my phone bro. Even at my jobs that don't let us use them I have mines in my pocket it's not like they search us lol...But yeah will they let you text on your phone or how about making phone calls if I'm not doing nothing?? Might as well, better than sitting in one spot looking like a zombie waiting for work to come through......................
@idiot. how about just answer my question. That's not your business you low life.....should of just sticked to answering the question instead of being a annoying troll. NEXT!(and oh, hopefully you aren't in the Military because you are a bit SENSITIVE)

NO cell phones during BCT some BCT allow it on the weekends but not many. NO cell phones during class of AIT. you are allowed to use them after 5 or so when class is over. then once you get to your regular duty station you can use your phone when ever for the most part. some times you are doing something you can't for safety.

don't worry. you are going to be busy and tired to use it during training. and unlike your current job. YES they check you for it.

for the most part., NO you may NOT have a personal phone while in the workspace.

and you sure as hell cannot be using it for personal stuff while working.. only on your breaks.

and depending on your job.. damn straight you are searchjed before entering the workspace and they aren't even allowed into the building. hell DH has to pass through a metal detector on his way into work.

You can use it discretly, but don't be one of those turds who disrespect the uniform and walk and talk on the phone. Think of the military and the people who died for our nation, now would a general of the base want to see you smokin and jokin, talkin on the phone disrespecting the uniform? No. Not a good idea and would equal an ass chewing or worse.

Your the same "guy" who doesn't want to be told what to do. Why do you even want to enlist anyway?
