Can internet service provider know what the client downloads using torrents?

I download a lot of stuff using torrents including games,movies,software,books etc. and porn Can internet service provider know what I download using torrents?

Yes they can.
A lot of people have already gotten letters attached with their bills telling the customer to stop the downloads.
But, police doesn't tend to track down people downloading illegal content, they need to go deal with the gangs and guns out there.
Also, downloading is not as bad as ripping a DVD and releasing it to the public.
So, in other words, taking the game off the web for free is not as bad as putting the game on the web for people to take.

They only know that your downloading torrents. They slow down your torrent traffic. If your downloading illegal porn (Under 18 years old) then they might be tracking it. They don't waste their time with what kinda movies you download and stuff like that.

Yes they will be able to tell what you download, but this is'nt information they ever look at. The records will be there, but they will never look into them unless they are required to.
