So this morning my mom woke up thinking she had all her money on her credit card. Turns out they took every single penny out of her account. So they are saying the system is down so she said she's gonna call back within an hr. So im guess she owed an old bill aince we moved out of our house. If they don't give her back her money she's calling a lawyer and is gonna try to sue them. It's illegal right.

she was gonna use that money to buy our Christmas because she didn't have the money to buy it before Christmas. She can sue them right? I seriously don't wanna go to school without a new pair of shoes. I'm very known to have a lot of money but my got a divorce and we moved in an apartment with My grandmother til we move to Nashville.

If she had a Visa/MasterCard and she owed money and had a savings/checking, the bank has the right to do that. It's called the right of set-off. But will dish.network, that's a different story, If she gets no satisfaction, then her call the Federal Trade Commission @ 1-877-382-4357 and ask if they can do anything for her.

Unfortunately, if this was not a computer glitch, I have a feeling this is not "illegal". Having satellite dish service comes with haveing hefty contracts and the contracts state they can withdraw at anytime. Did she forget to return equipment? has she not paid the bill? She may have tried to end the contract before it is up. Saying you moved in with your grandmother makes me think there may have been a contract at the old marital home. Sometimes in these situations you need to be a little more sympathetic with your mother and as long as your shoes don't have holes in them they should be fine. I only had one pair of shoes and one pair of sneakers per year. Don't hold your breath about getting the money back unless they feel really sorry for the situation...
