Can my parents restrict my right to drive?

Who pays for it?
If they pay for part of it (be it insurance, petrol etc.) then they have every right to restrict its usage as it is partly their money

I'm 16, have my license and have a car my dad gave me. Can they legally restrict my right to drive?

Yes, when you are 18 then no.

If the car is on his name then he can do it for life.
