Can my wife pay for my traffic ticket in court?

Hello,

I received a traffic ticket for Unclear Plates (39:3-33) in New Jersey. (My wife was driving the car and I was not there)

Actually, ticket is under my name because car was registered to me.

Can she go and pay for the ticket in municipal court?

Yes she can. If she has the ticket with her that is not a problem. If there is a "guilty" section on the back of the ticket there may be a space for your signature. Just have her scribble something in there. They won't check the signature; they just want the money.
