can plants get addicted to nicotine?

can a plant of any species get physically addicted to nicotine? as in cigarettes have it as the main additive and i know plants absorb the carbon monoxide naturally and if they absorb all the chemicals in a cigarette it slowly kills them and can give them tobacco mosaic virus but what if it was just the nicotine?

I have many plants here in my rehab clinic some are addicted to nicotine and other are in for more harder drugs like alcohol and crack

I wish your plant speedy recovery but if you think your plant has a problem I suggest you call plantline and speak to a plant that has more knowledge of the situation

I doubt it as they don't have brain receptors, which are the things that get addicted to Nicotine in humans.
