can someone explain to me how the gay agenda is trying to 'force gay marriage on us'?

Thats another issue that I just dont understand. If they legalize gay marriage, it wont affect my life one bit. It may make my transgendered daughters easer when she decides to marry. But unless they are trying to make only same sex marriages legal, force us all to marry the same sex, I dont see how their unions being legal affects us one bit.
I also dont get the extra rights thing. If same sex is legalized, we can do it to, it wont be only for homosexuals If we wish to but we wont so whats the big deal?
if its LAW how can they force gay marriage everywhere. It only affects the two partys involved in a marriage lol. It doesnt force me to marry them, it doesnt force me to give a dam at all.

They aren't. Marriage is a civil right, a government contract. You're absolutely right that homosexuals are the ones fighting for equality, to uphold the institution of marriage for everyone (which doesn't siblings, dead people, pets, or trees,). It's a shame that even those currently wed are still denied over 1000 federal benefits.

With the separation of church and state, you cannot force religious institutions to recognize same-sex unions just like Catholics cannot be forced to marry divorcees. You also cannot use tax-free religious donations to deny the constitutional rights of citizens to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

I'm really glad to hear you've stuck by your transgendered daughter. Personally, I believe in multigendered culture, and many of those in the past or other countries have wed same-sex couples.
