Can someone teach me any tips on screamo screaming?

Ive tried inward screaming but i cant make any noise come out.
And when i outward screamo i dont know how to keep the growl going and make it loud?
Is it alot harder to scream if u cant sing?
im starting a band similar to:
I Set My Friends On Fire
Killswitch Engage
Four Year Strong
A Day To Remember
Amity Affliction

ok so from listening to a bunch of that type of music,
I can tell you that most of it starts form the back of throat.
the growling might be good, just try to transform it into a combo of scream/tune.

Most screamers can't sing melody. But there is select few like Silverstein. Its easier to scream when you aren't trying so hard. Like when your trying to do something like a "waaaaaooooww", trying screaming it like you were swallowing, and not forcing it so much. But don't forget, practice, practice, practice. This is something really hard to describe over Y!A, but I hope this helped in some way.
