Can the iPhone 4S replace my iPod Touch 4G?

I ordered an iPhone 4S, and to pretty much balance out the costs - I'm planning to sell my current phone and my iPod touch 4g.

I'm just wondering before I sell my ipod is, would the iPhone replace it? Does the iPhone play music well or is the quality low?

I'd test it out myself, but the phone won't shit out for another 2 weeks.
 
The iPhone is the same as the iPod touch except it has phone, location, and texting capabilities.


I got my iPhone 4 specifically because I wanted an iPod touch but didn't want to carry two devices or pay for it. It was a bargain since I got the iPhone 4 on a regular upgrade on a phone plan I was going to use anyways.
 
Here's all I can say:

An iPhone is an iPod Touch with better specs. and has phone features.

In other words, yes to all your questions.
 
Yes, it will replace it. The iphone is an ipod... well, you know with a phone and some other stuff.
