Mal Turnbull at least was honest and stuck by his word. The latest incarnation of Pinocchio must have as much trouble dragging his nose around as he has with his ears. Mind you, Tony has no problem with his brain, It is so light. What a complete Joke.
Yes Bill, always better. But You will remain a Liberal voter and I can't help you.
Molly, You are right. They have nowhere else to go. Unless you want Bronnie Bishop. Now wouldn't that be a treat?
Molly, Have a Great Christmas and the Best in 2010. To Hell with Polly Correctness.

What a curious selection by the Liberal caucus ( or whatever they call their party rank and file nowadays) The third best nominee for the leadership position came out of left of centre or right to centre as the case may be.

He, Hon. Mr.Tony Abbott (Lib), is an aesthetically virile political personality, albeit, being a Papist prodigy, who is supposed to inject virility into seemingly lethargic opposition frontbench, and it is hoped that this would deflect the opnion poll ratings of a hitherto stagnant political frontbench for the opposition party.

It seems that most Federal MPs have become frontbench shy within the Coalition party, and no one wants to sit in the opposition portion of the federal house of representative frontbennch, it is bad Feng Shuai for the liberal National coalition party and the musical chairs game is continued to be played until the coalition party return to the other side of the house.

In truth, I am unconvinced that Tony Abbott will last the distance and perhaps he may be toppled by someone from amongst his frontbench colleagues as well.

The present leadership incumbency is a 'fools crown' and the Hon. Mr. Tony Abbott, has yet to fully consolidate his leadership credentials and he is presently being considered as the 'nightwatchman' until he earns some valuable runs during his innings.

Hon Mr. Tony Abbott may come into his own come 2010, however, it will have to be after Feb 2010 after Malcom Turnbull crossess the floor in support of the ALP ETS policy. When this happens the fractures within the Liberals/Nationals will come to the fore and the future turncoat for malcom Turnbull may indeed mean that he may even consider switching political alliegences and go in to bat for the ALP. The ALP will consider this sculp as the ultimate victory in ALP political history since John Curtain recalled the troops to South East Asia to protect Australia after the fall of Singapore in 1942.

Why, because this is what the Australian Republican movement have been after all along!

He is our worst nightmare coming back to haunt us come to think of it he reminds me of a ghoul.
Just goes to show how backward and ignorant the Liberal party is when it really counts like climate change they have leadership coup.

And he put all the old cronies back on the front bench, even dusted off Bronwyn Bishop from the archives. I am amazed he didn't go the whole hog and just make Wilson Tuckey shadow minister for the environment...may as well.
Abbott must think voters are easily led. Bring on the election I say, and let's finish off the Nationals too. Conservatives are endangering the future of this country, probably the most vulnerable large country with respect to climate change. Anyone would think the Coal Lobby is paying their staff.
