Read the contract. Almost all contracts include the conditions under which stored items may be sold or otherwise disposed. See if the contract allows you to pay a balance due to recover your items.

Now that you have the date and time of the sale, if you are not allowed to recover your property by paying the balance due, you can show up to purchase the stuff.
