Can the things you save on the internet, such as pictures, be tracked?

Like if i went to google, opened a picture and then right click save image as... Etc, Thanks for the response.

Don't worry it's nothing bad =) Just a freak about internet ><
 
I assume your referring to tracking from the website/host's perspective. When viewing website statistics as a website administrator, there's really no difference when someone views an image or downloads an image. On 99% of all websites when viewing images it is essentially downloaded to your browser to view anyway.
