i use hide-IP and peer-guardian, Hide-IP hides my IP address and replace it with a fake one that change every hour, and peer-guardian stops IP addresses from getting to my PC, now my question is since I'm a torrent user, when i run these programs at the same time, does it lower my chances of being notice, to like a ratio of a mil - one chance my IPS or Watch dogs don't notice I'm what is being downloading

I'm not too sure how Hide-IP works but if it is a proxy service then it should be the only thing needed to hide your true IP address. With a proxy server you basically connect to it and the server connects to the computers that have the source file you are downloading therefore the only IP address seen is the Proxy server. The company that owns the proxy server is the only one that knows your IP. This method is the only true way to hide your IP from Big brother.

I don't think either of these protect you from torrent tracing because both of these work with port 80 and not with the ports used by torrents - yes you can disguise your ip address as far as browsers are concerned but a torrent packet will still have your IP adress in it as allocated to you by your ISP. You need something that works specifically with torrent applications like btguard.com
