...so, how are you charged? I am interested in getting an ipod touch, but i have never owned one before and i am interested in purchasing apps and things like that once i get the ipod touch. Will i be able to do so eventho i don't have an iphone? Also, how is the camera on the new ipod touch? Thanks!

You will have to sign up for an Apple ID at the beginning then at the first time of the app store they ask you for your billing information but they wont charge you until you purchase an app.
