Can We get a Snow Day if we are on vacation and office is closed?

I work for a non profit agency of about 65 employees in New York City. The weather calls for a major snow storm tomorrow into the next day. Our Director may close the office and give staff a "snow day" if the weather is really bad. Myself and a few other staff members are on vacation next week. If there the agency is closed for a snow day are we supposed to get our vacation day back?

There is no universal law on the subject. It is a matter of policy of the employer. Ask the employer.
