can you burn cds from limewire?

I used to know everything about this kind of stuff but now I feel like I know nothing. Ha ha I think I tried burning a cd almost a year ago from limewire and there wasn't a way to anymore and you couldn't transfer songs from there to itunes. Someone help me please! How else can I get music for free and burn it to a cd?
actually just kidding.... i just went to limewire's website and you can't even download it anymore.
