Can you go on facebook, youtube, etc... with a Kindle?

I know that the screen will just be black/white, right? But with the latest Kindle + wi-fi and 3G, can you use Facebook... or even youtube? I know this is probably a really stupid question, but I'm just not familiar with all this new technology, hahaha.
