i have an onkyo a 8017 stereo receiver. it has 75 watts per channel but i have 2 18" speakers that i want to push, i can allready push them but i want more power to them, can i hook up a CAR AMP UP TO THE TO HAVE MORE POWER.oops sorry, the 18eens are like 200 watts each

not unless you just want to start a fire in your living room. they run on two different types of power.

no you can't unless you want a big mess on your hands a house stereo runs off a 110 power supply coming from your house plug.if your thinking of a car amplifier, this runs from a 12 volt battery.now if you buy a new or used house amplifier that can be plugged into the wall.and you have the right stereo that has RCA ins you may be able to do this.
