can you interpretate my dream (nightmare)?

i had a dream that my dad shot me in the ribs with a gun, and i managed at escape my mom, but my mom was left there :( so i got into the car and went to a random location and called the police, . . .thats how it ended.

this dream has been bothering me because i dont think my dad would ever do that, though he has been really mad before. this dream make me question my dad. . . i just dont get my dream, it was a nightmare, i was horrified in it :(

To dream that someone is shooting you with a gun, suggests that you are experiencing some confrontation in your waking life. You may feel victimized in some situation.

Could just be a lot running through your head ( television, conversations, a lot of time spent with your dad and mom) Dreams usually come from daily events that sink into the subconscious and things that you are afraid of or want to happen.

usually when someone shoots you in a dream, it means they're trying to tell you something that you won't listen to them about. ex. could be something as simple as they want to go somewhere else for dinner than you, but you won't let it go that you want to go to the place you want to go to.
