Can you listen to iPod on a Hi-Fi or speaker over Wi-Fi? help!?

I'm currently looking for a new docking station/speaker/hi-fi for my iPod

I have an iPod touch, 2nd gen, and was wondering...

is it possible to buy a sound system that connects to your WiFi as welll as your iPod touch, and you can play music through it without plugging your iPod touch into it?

please help!
