Can you name some NBA stars that you thought were going to be NBA Legends?

This is my list of NBA stars that I thought where going to be so great....legendary like Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem, Bill Russell, etc. The NBA stars that I thought were going to take over the league and win many NBA titles were Shawn Kemp, Chris Webber, Kevin Garnett because they had that on court meanness to them and their performance...it just fit perfectly. I also thought Kerry Kittles was going to take over the NBA as well. Ray Allen, I seriously thought he was going to be playing at Michael Jordan's level. He stopped dunking. LOL He had the jump shot like Jordan. Last but not least Christian Laettner, I thought he would be better than Larry Bird. What NBA stars from way back did you think were going to be way better than what you expected?
