Can you order Showtime for 4 months and then cancel it in Directv?

Me and my mom want to do this because we love to watch Dexter but are uninterested in it after the season is over. Is it possible to turn it on and off this easily?

Yes, create an account online(So you don't have to deal with anoying customer service reps when you cancel). Add Showtime to your services, you will be billed monthly, after four months remove it from your services.
