Can you rotate a layer in Photoshop WITHOUT losing quality?

I need to rotate a layer of lineart, but it DESTROYS MY BEAUTIFUL LINES ADFSDGSD. (I'm having a total sobfest right now.)

I just want to know if it can be done; if so, how to do it? (I don't want a bunch of "CTRL + T"s and "EDIT THEN FREE TRANSFORM BEST ANSWER PLZ"'s.)

Ok well the free transform tool doesnt lose any quality it appears like it does until you hit the checkmark so it can render it faster the check mark appears at the top right or you can just hit control + enter
and the free transform tool is the best to get fast rotations.
