One day you will get it one day you will see but one day is to late and u don't have the key BOOM BOOM BOOM it was made to feel it was made to save but it was taken from me now im a ghost to my grave.. what is it?

I was given this riddle and asked for the answer,,, i gave the answers (a soul, and love) neither was right, i am NOT one to play guessing games so i told him to f**k off but i want to know the answer because its irritating me and he wont give me the answer.
Well i have no gotten the answer from him and Time, Life and Breath and all wrong. The answer was a heart.
 
I think that the answer is life. One day you will get a life, You don't have the key to life. You save a life. I can't see how it fits entirely, but it's my best guess.
 
No offense but this isn't hard.

He was telling you to get a .......LIFE.
