Can you text in t9word with the verizon wireless HTC imagio?

I posted this in the phone Category but nobody was answering. Do any of you have the Imagio? Can you text in T9 word? Or can you only text with a keyboard? I hate texting with a keyboard.
 
You should be able to go to a store that sells that phone with verizon and ask them about it, they should know
