I have a new samsung 43 inch plasma tv and My old pionner DVD player doesnt seem to work with it. The colour has a pink/red tinge to it. Any Ideas whats wrong or is the DVD player simply incompatable with the new TV?
The DVD player is fine with any TV. They're not like Apple where they make things that are only compatible with that brand.
The most obvious thing is the check your resolution. That'd be under the menu>picture settings somewhere.
Other than that, it could be a bad connectors to the tv, or to the dvd player, OR just a bad cable. If messing with the resolution doesn't work, try replacing the cable and/or toying with the female connectors that go into the dvd player and tv.
