Hallo, I got myself a new canary a couple of days ago. The bird is perfectly healthy, had it examined by an avian vet and he found nothing wrong. Also the bird chips and sings normally and frequently. Yet, after every time it eats it starts making a clicking sound with its beak that lasts for about 15-20 seconds. What could that be? Is it trying to clear its beak from food or maybe it was born with a misshapen beak? (since respiratory diseases are out according to the vet)
Also, can a bird that sings and behaves healthy be in fact ill?
thanks
