the tower or? I just got a cellphone with AT&T plan.
Today, I had two dropped calls on my way down to the basement of a library. Then I found out that I couldn't make a call at all down there.
****Then I watched someone just 15 feet away answered a call on his cellphone...not sure what service he was using though. But later a friend of mine told me that his AT&T phone wouldn't work in the basement of the library either.
Question:
Is this simply the matter of some other company's tower being closer to this library than AT&T's, or they have superior technology which gives greater building penetration????
No, I didn't find out other AT&T user can make the call. The only other confirmed AT&T user can't make call from the same location either.
Oh man...just found out there is a tower right outside the library...belongs to Alltell...no wonder some people can make calls...
