I just installed my power wire for amp through the gromet where all the wires come from inside of dash to the outside under the hood. I drilled through near those wires because from pictures I had seen from a website, thats how the guy did it so I did the same. After I wired everything I went to try and start my car. I went to start it and no crank had happened, the brake peddle was stiff and the radiator fan turned on. I also switched batteries to see if that worked and nothing. Checked all the fuses and nothing was burnt.
It's an 07 Altima with start up button. If that helps.
My guess is that I ripped a wire while drilling next to the gromet to stick the wire through.
