I have a 3000w amp, 4 channel. So that is 750w per channel.

I have a 1800w sub, 900w rms.

Safe to use on 1 channel or will it blow?

Just needs it clarifying. I am guessing that the 1 channel @ 750w being lower than the 900w rms will mean it is safe.

Thanks.

If that amp is 3000 max then I would use 2 channels. Then the rms of the 2 channels would be 750. It just depends on the amp and sub. If the sub is a good and well known brand, chances r that the sub can take a little bit more than 900 rms. If the amp is a crappy brand then chances r that the amp won't give u the full wattage. In that case u would be good to run at least two chan.

It's actually better to go a little over the RMS rated power of the sub than to under power it, not supplying enough watts can damage the sub
