Car Audio Question Easy?

Im trying to install a Pioneer DEH-1300MP Into my 2003 VW Passat with monsoon audio system. I have all of the necessary harnesses and wires needed. Follow the color code and you'll see. I'm getting a bad feeling about this and the expression "hack job" come to my mind. I'm picturing duct tape all over and crossed up wires. Without any problems, you ask- this question demonstrates at least anticipation of difficulty. Why don't you get the interface, just for the heck of making it foolproof. Keep it neat.
