Car died after stalling?

I was reversing out of a parking space, when my foot came off the clutch (because my shoe was a little wet from outside) which caused my car to stall..which is nothing unusual obviously..but when i went to turn the car back on nothing happened..i thought for a second my battery suddenly died, but the lights were on, the radio and antenna in the back would keep coming on when i would turn the key. i tried everything pressing the clutch, turning the key, gas, gas and clutch everything i could think of..... it was just like my car died or something...so i called mechanic he said try the clutch which i was already doing so when it didnt work he called his tow truck..i waited for an hour (every so often i would keep trying to get my car back on) i ended up calling a friend for some type of advice and he mentioned clutch and forsome reason when i tried to get the car back on again it worked..i dont know what i did to get it back or what caused it to even do that...so anyone know what might of happened to my car and what i can know what to do if it happens again?

its been acting normal now but im scared it could happen again
i have a 1992 honda accord


i should mention that my clutch or whatever was bypassed..meaning i can start m y car without pressing the clutch
