Hi, Basically I bought a car and 2 days later my partner lost her job and had to sell. The car had no TAX and the day I bought it I went to get the car taxed as I had the full V5 and sent it off. Anyway I had to sell the car (it was a second car and wasn't needed just something for the weekend) I sold it 3 days after purchase for £100 less than I paid. Anyway get a letter in the post this morning off the DVLA saying car needs a VIC check and they cannot give me the full V5. I sold the car about 3 weeks ago with only the green slip. What should I do? I don't have the money to buy the car back off the guy and I can't find his number anywhere.... Any help will be very much appreciated. Do I need to buy the car back off him? I just don't know what to do. Thanks
