Car stero won't remember radio station... Anyone know anything about them?

Iv recently brought a Sony sterio for my car. Iv fitted it as it said in the manual and it works fine. I stored the radio stations to the channels as instructed but when I turn the ignition off and on again the stations are no longer stored. Does anybody know what I may be doing wrong or anything on this situation?
 
your power accessory wire on the head unit has to go to a constant power source that has power all the time even with the key shut down.this is what keeps power to the cd players memory powered at all times to keep your clock right and it keeps the memory at all times.remember its marked power accessory and is most of the time red.hope this helps.there are 3 different powers on any aftermarket head unit one is yellow this is the main power wire to the head unit the second is red and this is the power accessory wire that's giving you the problem,third there is a blue wire this is a remote turn on for external amplifier. hope this helps you out.
