Car Theft:My 93 Chevy 4x4 truck was broken into,they didnt manage to steel

it,Is it likely they will return?..? They broke the steering column and just had to move one thing and they would have had it. But I figure maybe they got scared off by a dog or something, lights. Who knows.

I just wanted to know in general do thieves attempt to return to steal the same vehicle if it is an easy target. Just in general if thieves do try more than once on a vehicle often times.
 
depnds if it was random or u have a enemy..
cant say 100% also depnds on the bastard theif.
usually they wudnt since they got scared off and u alrdy kno
ur car was almost stolen, theif knos theirs guna be alot of attention
on the truck now and thas the last thing a theif wants is
attention, unlikly but pull the battery cables or something just in case..
stall them .
